Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite, has finally disclosed the reasons leading to her divorcing her colleague and ex-husband, Chris Attoh after only two years of marriage.
Speaking in an interview with prominent journalist, Chude Jideonwo, Damilola revealed that they divorced because they had realized that “love is not enough” and that this was the reason for their separation.
The couple met on the set of the award-winning soap opera “Tinsel.”
They welcomed a son together in 2014, and got married in a private ceremony in 2015.
However, Damilola Adegbite and Chris Attoh officially divorced in September 2017.
According to the actress , she has no regrets about ending her marriage.
Speaking further, the single mother revealed that she still holds Chris in high regard because he is the father of their son.
She pointed out that love is only one of the many qualities that are necessary when choosing someone to spend one’s life with, and it is not the only deciding factor.
