In his 28th televised address to the nation President Akufo Addo has eased Covid-19 restrictions but cautions the public to get fully vaccinated before going to any gathering.
He said, from tomorrow, Monday 28th March, 2022 the wearing of face mask is no longer mandatory, I encourage all of you though, to continue to maintain hand in house hand hygiene practices and and avoid over crowding gatherings”
The President further people in charge of human activities such as those that take place in churches, mosques, conferences, workshops private parties and events, cinemas and theaters may resume at full capacity as long as the audience and all participants are fully vaccinated and also provide hand washing and sanitizers at these venues.”
He said Government will continue to engage all religious and traditional leaders, agencies and institutions to encourage their congregants, subjects and citizens respectfully to be vaccinated to help achieve the twenty million target by June, 2022 . He called on the media to support this campaign in full.
Since Ghana recorded its first Corona Virus case in March, 2020 the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, has been updating Ghanaians on a Covid-19 measures that will help reduce the spread of the virus.
